My name is Luciano and I am a musician and music technologist with diverse work experience. From being a performing/recording musician to currently working on the product development team at KORG, I love bringing my passion for music to my work.
I graduated with a degree in music from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 2018 and have since performed internationally with artists including Eddie Palmieri, Arianna Neikrug, Kenny Davis, Eddie Allen, Ralph Bowen, Conrad Herwig, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Claudio Roditi, among others. I have performed at venues including Blue Note and Trumpets Jazz Clubs, Birdland, Smalls, Subrosa Latin Jazz Club, and the radio station WBGO 88.3. I was recently featured as a guest performer at the Cuban International Jazz Festival in Havana, Cuba. In March of 2022, I was featured on a fusion latin-jazz album with Fabricio Pereira. and Juan Ibarra, recorded in Havana.
In my current role at KORG, I conceptualize demonstration and marketing content as well as program sounds that can be heard in KORG musical instruments. I work closely with brand management, product design, sales, and marketing teams to create strategies to best position KORG products to both dealers and consumers. I am also responsible for curating content to support KORG product marketing campaigns. Prior to KORG, I worked for Apple as a Lead of business development, where I led a team of over 65 to best support Apple’s priorities and sales initiatives.
A desire to have the most portable musical instrument inspired me to start my own business in 2016, Minetti Custom Keyboards. My goal was to customize existing electronic keyboards to make them smaller and lighter for the traveling musician. I developed a production process to modify the internal circuitry of each keyboard, improved the internal speaker systems, and created content for social media accounts to support the growth of my business.
