Bio / Luciano Minetti
New York-based pianist Luciano Minetti is a 22 year old musician who graduated with a degree in music from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Luciano began attending the Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts in 2014 on a music scholarship. Luciano has performed with internationally renowned artists, including Eddie Palmieri, Fred Hersch, Bill O’Connell, Conrad Herwig, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Claudio Roditi, among other lights in music. Working alongside these giants has given Luciano a unique and fresh musical style. Luciano has performed at numerous venues within the tri-state area including the Blue Note and Trumpets Jazz Clubs, New Brunswick State Theater, Subrosa Latin Jazz Club, Nicholas Music Center and the radio station WBGO. Most recently Luciano was a featured performer at the 2019 Cuban International Jazz festival.
